Uyajola 9/9 presenter Jub Jub was allegedly dismissed for alleged verbal abuse

Moja Love have reportedly fired Uyajola 9/9’s Jub Jub. This comes after he used aggressive and inappropriate language towards his female business partner.

Jub Jub, real name Molemo Maarohanye hosts the popular show Uyajola 9/9, where people write into the show to expose their cheating partners. According to Sunday World, he was let go by the channel shortly after demanding his salary for January to be paid.

Moja Love had withheld his salary after Jub Jub was asked to issue an apology to his partner, Keabetswe Mokoena, which he refused to do. He allegedly insulted Mokoena using vulgar language related to her mother’s private parts.

 “Jub Jub has been shown the door, he is no longer with the channel,” said the mole.

 “The CEO [Aubrey Tau] has an obligation to protect the integrity and reputation of the business. Jub Jub is a good presenter but he is not bigger than the brand Moja Love.”

According to TshisaLIVE , Jub Jub’s contract was set to be renewed by Moja Love in March however they have indicated that they have no intention of renewing it.

“Jub Jub is an independent contractor and therefore cannot be dismissed as he is not a permanent employee of the channel. Moja LOVE is also not at liberty to discuss the contents of his contract as it is confidential and of a privileged nature” head of Moja TV Channels, Bokani Moyo said.

This is not the first time that things get sticky for Jub Jub, back in 2022 he was in a sticky situation after he went to Podcast and Chill and spoke ill of songstress Kelly Khumalo, and said that she uses muti. Also, there were allegations of sexual violence hurled at him by Amanda Du Pont and other women, at the time.

Moja Love sent him packing, and demanded that he issue an apology to Kelly Khumalo, if he wanted to be back at the channel. He ended up apologizing to her, and the channel took him back.
