The Jameson Distillery Tour makes its way back to Johannesburg
The Jameson Distillery on Tour is back from the 18th to the 28th of May 2023 in Hyde Park Corner.

Following an unexpected halt to the tour due to the pandemic, the beloved Irish whiskey is finally returning to the City of Gold with an even better experience in store.
The Jameson Distillery on Tour is offering a unique opportunity for all Jameson aficionados to immerse themselves in a South African-infused exploration of the famed distillery from Bow Street, Dublin.
Over the course of two weeks, attendees can indulge in a variety of specially curated sensorial experiences, accompanied by plenty of Jameson Irish whiskey to savor, naturally.
“We are super excited to be bringing back the Jameson Distillery on Tour to Johannesburg following what was an incredibly successful stint in Cape Town in December last year,” says Marketing Activation Manager on Jameson Irish Whiskey, Sheila Chisina.
She adds that the Jameson Distillery on tour is a unique experience that the brand wanted to bring closer to one of its leading markets – South Africa.
“The purpose behind the event is to elevate our consumers’ experience of the brand beyond the consumption occasion. As a brand, we pride ourselves in the rich history of our brand and want to share the over 240-year heritage with those who have supported us along the way. This experience in many ways brings together kindred spirits from all walks of life to learn about our whiskey and have fun while doing so,” she adds.
The Jameson Distillery on Tour is a chance to come witness what the brand has in store. It kicks off on the 18th to the 28th of May 2023 in Hyde Park Corner, Sandton with tickets already on sale now.
“We look forward to seeing our consumers turn into advocates of the brand through this entire experience which boasts unique experiences that have become synonymous with how the brand shows up,” she concludes.

What to expect at the Jameson Distillery on Tour Experience
#1. Whiskey Tastings – With whiskey imported from Ireland hosted by Jameson Brand Ambassador, Joe Human
#2. Entertainment – from artists such as DBN Gogo, Kamo Mphela, Kabza de Small, Ami Faku, MFR Souls, Fiflaaa, JazziQ, Vinny & Christos, and many others will be performing on different days
#3. Pop-up self-care bar – comprising of a discounted service by Sorbet and Sorbet Man
#4. Games – Giant Jenga, Mini golf, arcade games and many more
#5. Food trucks – from some of Johannesburg’s finest gourmet food brands, Luvies Food and Filthy Moustache.
