Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane’s memorial and funeral details have been announced.
Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane’s family has announced the details his memorial service. He was killed in a shooting that happened outside of Wish Restaurant on Florida Rd in Durban, the same shooting incident that claimed the life of award winning Kiernan “AKA” Forbes.
He will be buried over the weekend, at a private ceremony.
“Close friends, family and selected media will gather for the special tribute which will be live-streamed.
“His funeral will take place at a private ceremony over the weekend.”
“The Motsoane family are deeply moved by the national outpouring of love and support over the past few days. Financial contributions are welcomed by the family at this time.” read the statement.

Tibz family released a statement announcing his death. “It is with extreme sadness that we acknowledge the passing of our beloved son, Tebello and confirm his untimely and tragic passing on the evening of February 10, 2023. To us, Tebello was a son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. To many, he was Tibz Wa Bantwana, Chief of Cool, Summer Time Cool Creator, K1 K9, and the many other names of affection.”
Tibz was not part of the entourage on Friday night, he was reportedly dining at a nearby restaurant, and only met with AKA outside of Wish. Him and AKA go way back, as he was AKA’s manager before branching out on his won and pursuing his own projects.
