Sunday at Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens

What an experience, Sunday was nothing short of amazing. Having to explore our very own hidden gems has been quiet the journey. This past Sunday we were craving some day fun surrounded by natural beauty…. Walter Sisulu Botanial Gardens was perfect for this.
We arrives at 12 noon with our little cooler filled with our favourite goodies, a fussy throw and cushions. Very economic as the entrance fee is R60 per adult.

Loved the fact that even though it was full and gave us the illusion of a market vibe….it is very spacious and everyone had their own little cocoon to cosy up in and enjoy the breathtaking, peaceful and sunny outdoors.
The stunning view of the waterfall is insane, straight out of a movie. After hours of just connecting and deep meaningful conversations, you can’t help but want to take a stroll through inviting the garden. It sure felt like we were out of Johannesburg as we enjoyed the fresh greens and clean walkways/bridges.
It’s the perfect place to press replay on yourself…I definitely felt renewed after spending my day there. Families, lovers, friends and colleagues who just want that change of scenery to refocus, fall in love, revive love, bond or just recreate new memories with their loved ones…It’s the place to be.
