Songstress Kelly Khumalo welcomes a baby girl
Singer Kelly Khumalo, has welcomed a baby girl, making her a proud mom of 3 children.
Kelly Khumalo’s close friends have confirmed that the renowned singer and songwriter has welcomed a baby girl.
According to Zimoja and their sources, the delivery took place this week, and Kelly underwent a C-section in Johannesburg. A friend of the Khumalo family expressed their delight, mentioning that Kelly’s mother is overjoyed with the new addition to the family.
The friend added that Kelly is taking some time to bond with the baby, following African tradition, and will announce the news to the public when she is ready.
“But as you know, we are Africans and Kelly is a modern but traditional woman, so she will be indoors for some time before announcing the birth. Past experiences have also ltaught her to protect what is important to her.” the source shared with Zimoja.
Additionally, Kelly’s two older children are thrilled to have a younger sister.

Kelly Khumalo’s recent baby shower was organized by the well-known events management company Nono Events, with assistance from Chef Nzuza, and other key players.
The theme for the day was “Brown and Cream,” chosen by the singer to maintain gender neutrality and keep the baby’s gender a surprise.

According to another close friend of Kelly Khumalo, the singer had a wonderful pregnancy experience.
The friend mentioned that Kelly enjoyed her pregnancy to the fullest, always looking fabulous and maintaining her stunning appearance. Unlike some women who tend to let go of themselves during pregnancy, Kelly made sure to slay and stay a “yummy mommy.”
Late last year, it was reported that Kelly was expecting her third child with Mthokozisi Yende, a former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder whom she has been dating for a few years.
Kelly has two other children Christian and Thingo from her previous relationships, one with TV host and musician Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye and the other with late Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa.
