Somizi Mhlongo Withdraws Case Against Mohale Motaung, Ordered To Pay by the Court

Today, Mzansi has been abuzz with the news that Somizi Mhlongo has been ordered to pay all the legal fees for his estranged husband, Mohale Motaung by the courts, this comes after he withdrew the case against Mohale.
The two have been embroiled in a bitter divorce battle that has played out in the public eye, with both parties making damning allegations against each other. This ruling is a significant blow to Somizi, who has been very vocal on social media about his innocence and his desire to clear his name, as he labelled the abuse allegations levelled against him by Mohale, false. Even on his TV show, Living the Dream With Somizi, for weeks on end, the storyline was about Mohale and discrediting him, to the point of getting his friends to corroborate his story.
The case between the pair has garnered a lot of attention in South Africa, and many people on social media have taken sides, in terms of whose side they are on. Some have criticized Somizi for his behavior and how he handled the situation with Mohale, while many more have defended him, to the point of trolling Mohale and bullying him. For the longest time, those on Somizi’s side have accused Mohale of trying to extort money from him, and thanks to On the Record With Mohale, we got to hear Mohale’s side of the story.
“Kindly take notes that the plaintiff withdraws the actions instituted against the defendant and tenders the defendant’s taxed and/ or agreed party and party costs” read the court document
On hearing this news, tweeps were celebrating and congratulated Mohale on his win.
One thing is clear . . . when it comes to Mohale Motaung and Somizi Mhlongo, things remain very messy and public.
