RHOD Star Slindile “Slee” Wendy Ndlovu Recalls Relationship with Sandile Zungu
Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) Star Slindile “Slee” Wendy Ndlovu has opened up about her relationship with AmaZulu Boss Sandile Zungu.
According to Slee, the AmaZulu boss proposed to her in 2019 but ended the relationship and went on to marry another woman, a mere 4-months later.
Slee had started dating Sandile Zungu in 2016, after his first wife Zodwa Zungu sadly passed away, after a battle with cancer.
Slee shared with Daily Sun, that she found out that the man that she was in a relationship with had moved on, through newspapers, and of course that hurt her.
Slee Recalls What Transpired in Her Relationship with Sandile Zungu
The reason for their breakup was a “minor argument”, something she says she didn’t even take seriously.
“We started dating in 2016 and in the end, I came out with nothing except my handbags.
In 2019, he promised he was going to marry me and we got engaged. At the time I was studying in the US. When I came back to SA, I went to live with him.I attended every parents meeting for his kids, I’d take care of them in his absence. When his wife died, I became the shoulder he cried on. I followed his instructions without questioning him. We did baecations together.
He promised to pay lobola for me after a big project I was working on was complete. Instead, he dumped me and married another woman 4-months later.”
“We had a minor argument and he said he doesn’t trust me anymore. He stormed out of our home but I didn’t take it seriously. I actually laughed because the fight wasn’t even that serious. I waited for him to come back but he didn’t.
I saw their pictures in the newspapers. I was shocked and hurt by the whole thing. I still don’t know why he dumped me. Maybe I triggered something in him but whatever it is, did not give him the right to treat me like that.”
“We started dating in 2016 and in the end, I came out with nothing except my handbags,” she told Daily Sun.
“In 2019, he promised to marry me and we got engaged. It wasn’t something huge but the proposal cemented our relationship. At that time, I was studying in the US. When I came back to South Africa, I went to live with him,” recalled Slee.
Sandile Zungu Marries Nozipho Magubane
Last year June, the multi-millionaire business owner Sandile Zungu remarried. He said I Do in a lavish ceremony to Nozipho Magubane, which took place in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands.
According to Sunday World, the glittering wedding was attended by A listers – business people, celebrities, politicians.
According to a source, Zungu was not “in a rush to get married after losing his wife but this changed when he met Nozipho”.
“He was deeply hurt, but since meeting Nozipho he has found closure. Zodwa would have wanted him to get married because he was lonely for too long,” the source said.
Slee is part of Season 3 of the Real Housewives of Durban, and based on social media, she is a fan favourite.
There is already drama unfolding from that first episode, and we cant wait to see what the rest of the series has in store for the viewers.
