A brand-new season of The Real Housewives of Johannesburg is set to premiere in May, featuring the luxurious lives and intimate details of six reality stars.
The upcoming season promises to showcase their personal triumphs and struggles, as well as the inevitable drama that ensues when they come together. RHOD was a clear example of the kind of drama that we will be signing up for when we choose to watch the show, it should be interesting to watch.
Real Housewives of Johannesburg (RHOJ) cast members confirmed
Lebo ‘Jojo’ Mokoena (formerly Gunguluza) and Lethabo ‘LeJoy’ Mathato will be returning to the show, while Keabetswe Marema, Thobekile Mdlalose, Nicole Watson, and Mamus Koka will be new additions to the cast.
Unfortunately, part of the season two cast, including Tarina Patel, Christall Kay, Brinnette Seopela, Mpumi Mophatlane, and Mpho Merriweather, will not be making a comeback.
The announcement of the upcoming season garnered mixed reviews, which is not surprising given that the show has been off the airwaves for a considerable amount of time. However, some viewers, like entertainment commentator Phil Mphela, are pleased with the new season and have expressed that it was not produced under pressure due to the fans’ demand for a new season of the franchise.
