Rapper AKA Inconsolable after losing his fiancée Nelli Tembe in Cape Town Hotel Tragedy

Rapper AKA is said to be inconsolable after his fiancee Nelli Tembe fell off a 10 storey hotel in Cape Town. The Forbes and Tembe family issued a joint statement confirming the death of Nellie Tembe on April 12, 2021 . . . it’s a sad day indeed.

The Supermega and Nelli were seen in Cape Town at Ayepyep earlier on Saturday night and Sunday morning, looking happy and very much in love.

South Africa has reacted to this tragic news with shock and disbelief , with social media buzzing with messages of condolences.

AKA and Nelli started dating in 2020, and many people were excited when AKA announced on his Instagram that he had paid lobola for Nelli last month. We all were looking forward to their wedding and their life together . . . until tragedy struck in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Their families released a joint statement that reads: “It is with the deepest regret that we, the Tembe and Forbes families, confirm the untimely passing of our beloved fiancé, daughter, sister and daughter-in-law, Anele Tembe (22). Anele tragically passed on in the early hours of this morning, Sunday 11 April 2021.

“We are still in shock and are dealing with our emotions, as she was an exceptional and gifted young woman, with so much life ahead of her. She had a sweet nature about her and was always nurturing to those around her. Her fiancé, Kiernan Forbes, is currently inconsolable and is surrounded by family and closest friends. At this hour of our grief, we humbly request that our families be given privacy and time to heal.“
