Finally got to stay at the Rosemary Hill Farm and I still feel like the 2 nights were not enough…Because wow, it was amazing.
We booked a mid week stay and believe me it felt like the weekend….Ok, let me get to it.
So once you have booked you receive communication both via Whatsapp and email on how to get there and how to have a seamless check in process. Once you arrive, the guard is nice and friendly and your name is on his list, which makes it quick and easy. We arrived a bit early so we hung out at the coffee shop and enjoyed yummy Latte’s served by very welcoming staff.
Time for check-in….Ohh my goodness. We stayed at the cabin and it was perfect. As you walk in you are greeted by this fresh scent. It is so stylishly furnished in a modern vibey way with a kitchenette equipped with all essentials. The cutest dining area with a cosy couch where I snuggled up to enjoy my tea and the tastiest rusks I have had in all my life.
From the dining area you are pulled out of the cabin by this picture perfect deck with the view of the dam and greenery. This is where we spent most of our time chatting, bonding and watching both the sunrise and Sunset.
The Best Part was upstairs, where we fell in love with the modern chic bedroom area with black and white floors, a free standing bathtub and our little haven “the chill net” straight from our bedroom.
We got to explore the farm on our segway tour and my goodness, it is beautiful and rich in history.
In a nutshell, I am obsessed with the Farm for many reasons and the main being that it is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle when you are looking to relax and recharge in a stunning tranquil environment. The second being the amazing food which is freshly prepared for people like me who hardly cook when on holiday.
