Mzansi Celebrates Nozibele and Sikhumbuzo Mayaba’s Pregnancy News

Nozibele Qamngana Mayaba is pregnant! She and her husband Skhumbuzo Mayaba announced their pregnancy on social media, to the delight of their fans. Immediately after the announcement, fans and followers alike flooded their comments section with messages of congratulations.
This couple is well known for opening their lives and sharing their journey as a couple living with HIV. Nozi as she is fondly known opened up about her HIV journey on her social media and Youtube channel, and how she was navigating her life, helping many people with accepting their own diagnoses and dealing with the stigma associated with HIV.
On some of her videos, she was even giving out tips to people who wanted to disclose their HIV status to their family or a partner, which I thought was amazing.
Her journey to acceptance has been nothing short of remarkable, and their love story on how they met and on telling Skhu (how she fondly calls him) that she was HIV positive is one that will warm your heart.
The couple spoke to You magazine about their story and on how they met, and shared that when they met, Nozi was not at the point where she wanted her story to be known. She didn’t want anyone knowing that she had HIV. She shared that she told Skhu about her HIV just so he could just give up on having a relationship with her.
Little did she know that Skhumbuzo would continue being persistent, even though he was HIV negative. By then, he knew that he had the woman who would become his wife.
And now, this beautiful couple is pregnant. When Nozi made the pregnancy announcement on social media, she shared “God has made me laugh, and everyone who hears of this will laugh with me”
She continued, “Our hearts are full of so much love for you. We have been praying for you for a long time. We can’t wait to meet you 🥺”.
Wow . . . talk about prayers coming true.
We wish this beautiful a wonderful journey on this next chapter of their lives.
