Mapaseka Koetle who plays Dintle Nyathi on etv’s Scandal has confirmed that her marriage to her husband Nelson Nyokong is over.
Mapaseka, who used to use a double barrel surname is now using her birth surname, and she has also taken her wedding ring off her finger.
According to Zimoja, she has confirmed that she is separated from her husband Nyokong, and that they are no longer living under one roof.
According to Zimoja, Mapaseka and Nyokong tried to resolve their issues before the marriage completely broke down, for the sake of their daughter. They just couldn’t manage to sort out the issues they had, and decided to split up.

Moving out their West Rand Home
According to a source, who is a close friend of Mapaseka, Nelson has since moved out of their West Rand home.
“They tried to make it work but unfortunately the marriage failed,” the friend says.
“Nelson is a nice guy, he loved her. She also loved him at some point, but she fell out of love years ago. They had decided to try things out for the sake of the baby. But we know, that never works out,” the source adds.
Mapaseka and her hubby tied the knot back in 2016 and were blessed with their baby girl.

Mapaseka Koetle dating Again?
As for whether Mapaseka has moved on, is not quite clear.
She has been linked to a famous DJ, who split up from his wife of a few years. According to Zimoja, a source close to the two says Mapaseka and the DJ started dating a few years ago, and they often travel together to events.
“Whenever the guy gets a booking, she’s always there. They really love each other.” When called for comment the DJ asked, “There are a lot of things happening in my life and all you are interested in is my relationship?”
Mapaseka confirmed the separation from Nelson with ZiMoja, however she denied the rumors that she is dating the DJ.
“I have been on separation for almost four years now. I am not seeing the DJ. I know the DJ, but we are not dating. Whether I have moved on is neither here nor there.”
If she has been separated from the husband for four years, there is a high chance that she has moved on with her life. Four years is a long time, and given that she is a very beautiful woman, there must be many suitors trying to get her attention.
