Lynn Forbes thanks Nadia Nakai in sweet message
AKA’s mom Lynn Forbes has thanked her son’s girlfriend Nadia Nakai for loving her son the way she did.
Lynn Forbes wrote a heartwarming letter to Nadia Nakai, and expressed her gratitude at the way Nadia Nakai was there for AKA, and showered him with her love and gave him the respect that he desired.
Lynn Forbes has said how grateful she is that her son was surrounded by love when he died, because Nadia was a huge part of this.
She wrote, “Nadia Nakai I am forever indebted to you for the way you love and respect my son to this day. You showed him what real love and respect is and you brought out the absolute best in him.
“Kiernan was born with love, raised in love, gave love to so many and all he wanted in return was to be loved and respected in the same way. You gave that to him and he died surrounded by love. Thank you.”
Nadia shared just how heartbroken she is over the loss of AKA, “My Heart is shattered, this is not what our future was meant to look like. I can’t believe I said my final goodbye to you yesterday. I’ll never see you again for the rest of my lifetime? You loved me loud and proud, thank you baby. Protected me, Prayed for me, inspired me.
“I find it hard to breath let alone find the words to explain how much I love you. I’m really going to miss all the special moments we’ve had. This really hurts! I can’t come to terms with the fact that I’ll never hear you say you love me, I’ll never hear your laugh.”
Lynn also shared how devastated she was at the loss of her son, and how the past couple of weeks have just been a nightmare since he was killed.
She shared that through this journey, she had gotten three daughters: Nadia, Dj Zinhle and Britney.
And the most heartbreaking one of all was his daughter Kairo Forbes, when she shared how he was a great dad, and that she loves him.
The loss of Kiernan AKA Forbes sent shockwaves throughout South Africa, and the entire world. It is a major loss to the industry and for those who knew and loved him personally, I can’t even begin to imagine this kind of loss.
He was only 35 years old.
