Love and Hip Hop Mzansi to premiere on 27th of February
MTV Africa’s Love & Hip Hop South Africa will premiere in just a few days, where we will get to see Mzansi Hip Hop artists and get glimpses of their lives and what they have to deal with.
MTV Africa announced on their IG page that the show will premiere on the 27th of February on MTV Africa, which is DStv Channel 130 at 21:30 PM South African time.
If you have seen the other Love and Hip Hop shows in the US (they are the other ones that I have seen), you can expect drama and confrontations in the show. We are also looking forward to seeing bits and pieces of their private lives, family and how they are navigating the love scene.

Da L.E.S aka ‘The North God’ will be part of the show, seems like he is the main cast member (I am basing this off the poster released by MTV Africa). Hip-hop artist Gigi Lamayne, Yanga Chief who has featured on AKA’s Mass Country, DJ Speedsta, Shane Eagle and his woman Nikki Bubblezz, Speedsta, First lady of Motswako Lady Fifi Cooper will also be part of the show. Also, J Molley and Money Badoo will also be in the show.
It’s not exactly clear how they chose who would be in the show, however some people felt that Kiernan AKA Forbes would have been perfect for it.
As the Megacy has been reeling from the shock and heartbreak that’s coming from his death, some of his fans had shared how he is better suited for something like this.
AKA was shot dead in Durban on Florida road, and his latest album Mass Country has been released posthumously this Friday.
