Lekau Sehoana Slams Estranged Wife’s Accusations of Being a Deadbeat: ‘I Give Her R50K Monthly!’
Lekau Sehoana, the Founder of Drip Footwear, vehemently denies the accusations leveled against him by his estranged wife, Lebohang Machaba, branding him as a deadbeat dad.
Amid their tumultuous divorce proceedings, the businessman has strongly refuted Machaba’s allegations that he has failed to provide any financial support. Despite being married in community of property, Machaba contends that she is entitled to 50% of the mogul’s successful footwear business empire.
Furthermore, she claims that he has evicted her from their shared home and neglects his responsibilities towards their son.
However, Sehoana, in a recent interview with Zimoja, says that his estranged wife’s accusations are merely attempts to extort money from him. He firmly states that he does indeed fulfill his obligations in supporting both their son’s upbringing and Machaba’s financial needs.
Sehoana not only emphasizes that Machaba resides in their shared home, but he also asserts that he provides her with a monthly allowance of R50,000 to cover various expenses.

“Lebohang Machaba is taken care of. I send her R50 000 every month. She stays under my roof at Waterfall Estates, she is under my medical aid.
Lekau Sehoana told Zimoja
I bought her a BMW X6M sports, which cost R2 million. These claims are just lies she’s feeding the media to destroy me.”
Sehoana stands accused of infidelity by Machaba, who reportedly suffered from severe stress and depression leading to her hospitalization due to their ongoing divorce.
However, Lekau Sehoana strongly denies the assertions that his estranged wife required hospitalization and requests medical records as evidence to support such claims. He dismisses allegations that his son had to discontinue his education due to unpaid fees, categorizing them as falsehoods.
Sehoana further expresses his distress over being denied access to his son, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a meaningful relationship with him.
According to reports, the businessman has allegedly departed the country and is currently in Paris. He claims that Machaba has made threats against his life, leading him to take such measures for his safety.
