Katlego Maboe is back on Instagram after a 10-month hiatus, says it’s been tough as “he lost everything”. This is after a 10 month absence on social media, after his cheating scandal broke out.
Katlego Maboe was embroiled in a cheating scandal after he was caught on video admitting that he had cheated on his woman Monique Muller. In a statement that he released months ago, Katlego admitted to cheating on the mother of his child, but denied that he had abused her.
On an Instagram post he called Grateful, Katlego reflects on the last 10 months, saying things have been tough. He reminded his followers to be grateful, even when things seem tough. he wrote:
“It’s difficult at such a time to be thinking of a word such as gratitude,” he shared.
He continued: “The past year has taken so much away from all of us and for some of us, it has taken everything.
“Be that as it may, I still firmly believe that there is so much to be grateful for, especially while facing daunting prospects.”
The cheating scandal cost him his endorsements, his presenting gig on the Expresso on SABC 3 show and his gig at Outsurance.
His fans and industry peers were excited to see him back on social media after so long, and wished him well.
