Honor unveils the X7a, the new budget smartphone is coming to South Africa soon

Honor is on a roll, they have just announced the arrival of the Honor X7a, barely a month after the announced the arrival of the X9a.

What can you expect from the Honor X7a?

The Honor X7a is going to be an affordable budget phone, considering everything that is on the market at the moment.

It comes with a 6,000mAh battery, as well as the 8GB of RAM and the 128GB of storage. Unlike the Honor 70 that has no space for a storage card, owners of this phone will be able to increase the storage with an SD Card up to 1TB, which is amazing!

The X7a will come in a 6.7in ‘FullView’ display, which means it comes in a 720 x 1,600 HD display.

For this device, Honor does the four-camera system, with a 50MP main camera. There is also a 5MP Wide, 2MP Macro and 2MP Depth sensors that are there supporting the main camera, and for your selfies, this phone comes with a 8MP camera.

This smartphone also comes with a MediaTek Helio G37 chip, and if you are into heavy gaming, you might be disappointed.

However, this chipset is adequate for everyday use. If you are looking for a phone that can handle better and do better, then you might have to look to the Honor X9a.

In all honesty, the only thing that is making us lean towards the X7a is the massive 6 000mAh battery, even more impressive is the notion that it can last for three days after a single charge. This is incredible!!

Honor South Africa are going to be bringing the heat this year, and personally we can’t wait. Currently using the Honor 70, which we are super happy with, especially when it comes to video quality. Waiting to see what other announcements they will be making this year, after the X9a.

In terms of how much this phone is going to cost . . . you are looking at a price range of R3500 to R4000. and at that price range, you cannot expect a lot!
