DStv Content Creator Awards: Here are the Nominees

The DStv Content Creator Awards nominees’ announcement took place on Thursday afternoon, the 21st of July 2022. The awards nomination ceremony took place at the Hallmark House Rooftop in Doornfontein Johannesburg.

The DStv Content Creator Awards were developed to celebrate local content creators, brands and agencies that are behind some of the country’s top content. More than 1500 entries were received across 23 categories over 14 weeks. . . and over 200 shortlisted people, brands and agencies attended the grand event.

“As a platform that continuously looks to inspire authentic creativity and amazing content, this for us forms part of the many ways in which we recognise and celebrate our local talent,” Saul Moross, TikTok’s Creator Operations Lead for sub-Saharan Africa said in a statement. 

“Our community can look forward to fun hashtag challenges and informative creator workshop live streams,” added Moross. 

The awards will take place on the 10th September at The Galleria in Johannesburg
