B’sorah Tented Luxury Camp

B’sorah Luxury Tented Camp . . . it was the first time I ever did something like that. I decided that I wanted something to do for bae, as she loves being outside and adventurous, and I knew she would love it . . . and boy was I right.

We were pretty tired, right after hosting our couples on the boat cruise experience, so I was looking forward to that. She had no idea, as I wanted it to be a surprise.

First off, I liked how friendly the lady was when we got there, and the rest of the staff members were just as friendly and helpful when we got to our camp.

B’Sorah Tented Camp is a self catering tented accommodation, which I love because we love to cook. I loved that the gas stove was outside on the deck, which makes one to enjoy some scenery as we cook. We easily could have opted to braai, as there are braai facilities outside, which is fun. But we were just too tired to do any cooking, so we had brought takeout.

I liked how big the tent was, it felt like we had our own apartment in the bushes. The bedroom was huge, and so was the bathroom. One of m favourite things about the tented camp at B’sorah is the shower. The view from the shower is the bushes outside, secluded and private, so you never have to worry about someone crashing your party while you enjoy your shower. I love how they have a tree trunk for the shower. It feels like you are outside surrounded by nature, which is a really nice touch.

As soon as we got there, had our showers and settled in, we were out on the deck enjoying some champagne with our meal. I loved listening to the birds and enjoying the tranquility that this place had to offer.

And of course, we saw a few monkeys just playing on the trees not to far from where we were.

In the morning, we went on a hike. . . it was short but exactly what we needed to take in the scenery even more.

Overall, we had an amazing time. The only thing that I did not like is that our visit was super short. For a place like that, you want some time to just explore, relax and take it all in.

A pool or jacuzzi would have been nice . . . but that does not take away from the great time that we had.

It’s an hour or less from Johannesburg, which is great for a quick shot-left out of the city for some relaxation and bonding time with your loved one or a friend.

Would I recommend it to someone . . . a huge ABSOLUTELY!!
