Actor Thapelo Mokoena has launched a beard care range called Bakoena Beard Care, and he dubs the new range “a game changer for the Man Crown.”
Thapelo Mokoena has been on our television screens as far back as I can remember, and as his popularity grew, so did his beard. His beard is one that many men marvel at, and now, he is sharing his grooming secrets with all of South Africa.
He announced his Bakoena Beard Care range on his socials.
“Grooming is a very important part of the African man’s daily routine and Bakoena Beard Care was developed for the modern African man who is looking to enhance that trendy bearded look,” Mokoena, the founder and CEO of Bakoena Brands told EWN.
“As someone who has enjoyed experimenting with scents, textures and products, I decided to embark on an experiential journey to create authentically African products which cater to the unique needs and textures of African hair and skin,” Mokoena explained.
“Finally a go to beard range for Africa and the world. Infused with scents of an African home. The Impepho (sage), lengana (wormwood) plus aloe aromas are the ezilalini (rurals) welcome. Infused with some of the already familiar international scents like OUD, there is no doubt that the modern day man is involved,” on their website.
The Bakoena Bread range comprises of Beard oil, Beard Wash and Beard Butter. Their beard combo deals come in Maseru Sky Combo and Mgazini Mountain Combo.
“If a man’s crown is represented by his beard, and his wisdom by how well he nurtures it, then where we’re from, we call that man a real goat,” Mokoena said on the video.
