AKA’s Mass Country Certified Gold

Mass Country, AKA’s latest and final album has been certified gold. It was released about 2 weeks ago post humously, to the delight of his millions of fans around the world.

With this album, AKA put his heart and soul into it, and proved all over again why he was the goat that he was in South Africa. Mass Country dropped on  24 February 2023 and it features some of the dopest musicians in Mzansi, including his girlfriend Nadia Nakai, Emtee, Khuli Chana, Nasty C, Yanga Chief, Blxckie and others. The Megacy loves this album, and given that this is AKA’s last gift, they want it to do better than any album that AKA’s has ever released.

Speaking about the album, AKA’s mother, Lynn Forbes expressed how proud they were of AKA as his family, “Kiernan was so proud of Mass Country. As a family it was a pleasure to see his music’s evolution over the years. He played us this album over and over again. We’re happy the world finally gets to hear it.”

His single Company which features his longtime collaborator Kiddomaninant is currently the most-played song on Mzansi radio, this is according to monitor.

AKA and his friend Tebello Motsoane were gunned down on February 10, 2023, outside WISH restaurant, and the frustrating thing is that no arrests have been made yet, despite the shooting having captured on camera.

Given how law enforcement is in South africa, the Megacy is really hoping that this will not be another case that goes cold and unsolved.

And now, we wait for Mass Country to go platinum.
